Linas J. Kojelis established Kojelis & Company in 2003 to provide the highest quality services in public, media and government relations. Currently located in historic Petersburg, Virginia, Mr. Kojelis brings a wealth of local, national and international experience to meeting your core business communications needs.
From 1997-2002, Mr. Kojelis managed UAB Kojelis & Company in Vilnius, Lithuania specializing in business development and support.
From 1990-1997, Mr. Kojelis established and served as President of the U.S.- Baltic Foundation (USBF), a non-profit corporation supporting the development of NGO's, municipal government, independent media, government ethics and other democratic institutions and principles in the Baltics.
From 1981-1989, Mr. Kojelis worked in the Administration of U.S. President Ronald Reagan, including 4 years in the White House as Special Assistant to the President for Public Liaison. His other posts were at the Pentagon (Office of the Secretary of Defense) and as Deputy Assistant Secretary the Department of State. For his work at the White House Mr. Kojelis received numerous commendations from business, service, human rights and minority organizations.
From 1979-1981 he served on the staff of U.S. Senator Richard Schweiker (R-PA).
Mr. Kojelis served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, attaining the rank of lieutenant (honorable discharge). Mr. Kojelis was commissioned into the USNR by then Vice President George Bush at a White House ceremony.
He received his B.A. in Economics and History from the University of California, Los Angeles (1976), and a M.P.A. in International Relations from Princeton University (1978).
